Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We wore green and that was it.  St. Patrick's Day remains in my mind as Match Day four years ago.  (Has it really been four years already since Eli finished med school?  Sometimes it feels like ages ago and sometimes it feels like yesterday...)  On March 17th we matched to Duluth and began the work of residency.  This year was our first St. Patrick's Day post-residency and we had the entire day together.  It was a reminder that life is very different now, and much better than it's been in the past seven years.  I suppose we could call ourselves lucky, but I consider ourselves blessed: blessed with the grace of God to withstand med school and residency so we can now prepare for the mission field.  It's good to be at this point.
