Ready for the Vikings!

With only one preseason game left, we are already geared up for the Vikings season!  Who cares that they've lost all three games in the preseason so far?  We remain optimistic and tell ourselves that it's just the team working out its kinks and jitters before the real season starts.  (Denial, anyone???)

This family loves to cheer on the team wearing purple and gold!  Well, the husband in this family loves to cheer on our team, completely zoning in to the television when the game is on and explaining things to his wife, who smiles and nods at appropriate times :)  The wife in this family loves to sit on the couch and crochet or read or eat cookies while still cheering at the appropriate times :)  The child in this family loves to run around playing with spatulas and pillows, oblivious to the sad state of affairs of our team on the TV.  But he runs around in style, thanks to his new Vikings gear that Grandma Horn found at a thrift store.  He's also got a new football (thanks to Aunt Kathy) and he's slowly learning how to play with it.  We had a good time watching the game last night!
