Reading

Does this kid like to read?  YES.  Do we beam every time he pulls a book off the shelf and actually looks through it?  YES.  Did we bookworms actually pray to God that our child would love to read one day?  YES.  Are we one happy, story-loving family?  YES!

Caleb has joined our ranks.  He is currently a bookworm, just like his mom and dad.  He's loved books for awhile and our hearts couldn't be happier!  Last night we were sitting in his room as he pulled nearly every book off the shelf, reading them one by one.  Eli turned to me and grinned in a giddy, happy-daddy way.  Reading is a sure way to attain knowledge and wisdom, and we pray regularly that our son will acquire both as he grows.  We hope that his current love of books is not just a phase, but rather a lifelong love that's already showing itself!
