Life at Tenwek

We're in our second week of getting settled here at Tenwek Hospital, and things are going well.  Here's a peek into our new life through a series of pictures.

chameleons continue to be a source of extreme delight

going for a walk along the river

the Mara River, the same river wildebeest cross
during the Great Wildebeest Migration at Maasai Mara

waterfall and hydroelectric dam for the hospital

strolling along

watching farmers behind our building

boys will be boys!

relaxing on the balcony

sitting up all by himself!

making homemade chicken nuggets

eating homemade chicken nuggets!

Daddy time

bubbles!

first family movie night: The Lion King!

Bubba in front of our apartment
(our place is on the second level)

thank goodness we brought this boy's digger along

playing in the dirt can happen anywhere in the world

our white skin attracts a lot of attention and stares

climbing trees has been a daily activity

chasing butterflies

We're still figuring out a routine, but there have been plenty of activities to keep us busy and happy.  We're so thankful for this time to adjust to life in Kenya.  Having the chance to explore and settle and transition together, before Eli officially begins working, has been the greatest blessing!
