Rolling Over

Caleb rolled over from back to front!  He's rolled over from front to back several times (which I have yet to catch on camera), but he did it the other way around tonight, multiple times in a row.  We were watching the Olympics at the time and we're convinced that Olympic inspiration was all he needed to accomplish such a feat :)

Olympic Fever

Let the games begin!!!!!!!!!  We love the Olympics.  LOVE THEM.  And tonight we hosted an Olympics party to watch the Opening Ceremonies.  We dressed up to represent various sporting events and had a grand time.  Now we'll be glued to the tube for the next two weeks as the games unfold.  Go USA!!!

Despite the frumpy face, Caleb actually enjoyed his first Olympics experience!

That's right, my hubby is wearing short shorts... his quintessential tennis uniform

The Horns.  Triple threat.

Overalls

Every day is a good overalls day in this house!  Caleb's been rocking his overalls and showing off what a stud he is.  These are just a couple pictures to showcase his overalls wardrobe.  Tell me, what baby girl could resist this handsome little man???

Black & White

I love my new camera.  Intensely.  And I love turning photos into black and white and playing with brightness/contrast.  This first photo is my favorite:

Kudos to my husband for taking half these shots!

97th Percentile

That's right.  Our moose baby is in the 97th percentile for height and weight.  Caleb had his 2-month checkup today and he weighs 14 lbs 12 oz, and is 25 inches long!  He's growing right on target (given how big he was when he was born).  Caleb is perfectly healthy and was all smiles for the doctor.

That is, until the shots...

Our poor boy got his first vaccines today and it was the worst he's ever cried.  With that said, Caleb was a champ overall.  He was literally smiling until the first needle went into his little thigh, and then a look of shock crossed his face for half a second before he started screaming.  The nurse was great - she worked quickly as she stuck my boy three times in a row - but poor Caleb was beside himself with shock and horror.  As soon as it was done, I held him tight and he stopped crying almost immediately.  Then I nursed him and he ate really well and was all smiles again.  He's got a band-aid on each thigh as proof of his ordeal.  I'm so proud of our little man!  I mean, our big boy :)

"What???  I have to do this again in two months?  Say it ain't so!"

Singing

Here's the video of Caleb singing along while Eli played the guitar.  He'd been doing this for awhile and I just caught the tail end of it.  He's using his voice more and more frequently these days!

Two Months

Our baby is two months old today!  Hard to believe.  He's a big, beautiful boy. Definitely still a moose baby :)

We are so in love with this little man!  He's been super smiley the past couple weeks and we can't get enough of his smiles and giggles and coos.  We can't thank God enough for blessing us with Caleb!

Hanging Out

We love hanging out at home.  Who wouldn't with this kid around?

Caleb loves laying on our bed, staring at the fan.  Life is too good :)

Mama and Caleb spend a lot of time together!

airplane!

Eli has been playing his guitar at night and Caleb loves it!  Last night he started singing along and we couldn't stop smiling at his precious little voice.  He's become quite vocal of late, and Caleb just couldn't resist serenading us while Daddy Horn strummed some tunes.

New Computer

Eli recently bought a Mac computer and the FedEx man dropped it off today. We've been having fun with the built-in camera.  As you can tell, Caleb was so excited :)
